Diagnosis and Prioritization of Vulnerable Areas of Urban Ecosystem Regulation Services

Rapid urbanization and population growth have led to drastic degradation of urban ecosystem regulation services (ERS). Urgently needed is the identification vulnerable areas where ERS are being intensively deteriorated, preparation measures respond them. This study developed a framework diagnose prioritize ERS. The vulnerability that include carbon storage capacity, flood-risk mitigation heat stress reduction capacity was diagnosed with resolution 100 m × grid. Priority improve were delineated using hot spot analysis, results categorized by eight combination types including exposure, sensitivity, adaptability. spatial societal problems included in priority further investigated overlaying maps. Finally, management for suggested based on analysis results. From detailed diagnosis areas, this provides link concept planning. Furthermore, effective planning guidelines can be prepared spatially delineating vulnerability.
